Huge Explosion Killed At Least Five At Vietnam’s Wood Company

HANOI, May 2 (NNN-VNA) – At least five people died yesterday morning, after a huge explosion, at a wood manufacturing company in Vietnam’s southern province of Dong Nai, said a media report.

The incident occurred at 8:30 a.m. local time, in the province’s Vinh Cuu district, and was suspected caused by a boiler malfunction.

According to report, more than 10 people were injured, including five deaths.

As of 10.00 a.m., the provincial general hospital received five victims, including one in a critical condition.

Hospital sources said that, due to multiple injuries, the hospital mobilised all its staff members to work in saving the injured, according to a VnExpress report.
