Pakistan To Further Ease Policies To Attract Trade, Investment: PM

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan, May 25 (NNN-PPI) – Pakistani Prime Minister, Imran Khan, said, his government would continue to ease policies to bring reforms and conducive atmosphere for trade and investment, to achieve economic stability in the country, local media reported today (Saturday).

The prime minister made the remarks during his meeting, on Friday, with a delegation of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and trade representatives in the southern port city of Karachi.

Khan said, he wanted his government to be acknowledged as investment and trade friendly, which is providing the maximum ease of doing business facilities.

Khan urged the business and trade community, to play their role in the economic stability and development, so that his government can fulfil its mission to eliminate poverty from the country.

Khan invited the business community to make full use of the tax amnesty scheme, recently announced by the government. He also promised to bring reforms in the taxation system, so that concerns of the business community can be addressed.

The representatives of the business community expressed their confidence in the economic policies of the government, and also submitted their proposals to achieve the economic targets.– NNN-PPI
