ISLAMABAD, Apr 12 (NNN-APP) – Four people were killed and 10 others injured, in a road accident in Pakistan’s east Punjab province, yesterday, local reports said.
The incident happened in Faisalabad district, when a car hit a passenger van coming from the opposite direction, the report said.
The deceased included a woman and her three children in the car, who were on their way to visit relatives as part of the tradition of the Eid al-Fitr.
The injured people have been shifted to a nearby hospital.
Police said that, over-speeding of the car led to the accident, as its driver lost control of the vehicle, while negotiating a turn and hit the van.– NNN-APP
