Bali Adds 30 More Autogates At Airport

JAKARTA, Mac 27 (NNN-ANTARA) – Indonesia’s Bali province is adding 30 more autogates, to facilitate the immigration screening procedure at Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, bringing the total to 60.

“We are currently in the installation process. And we are targeting completion in early July this year,” said Suhendra, head of the Ngurah Rai Immigration Office, yesterday.

To expedite services, the autogate combines border control management technologies with face recognition, which will reduce the time of immigration services from several minutes to only 15 to 25 seconds.– NNN-ANTARA
