Teenager Charged Over Stabbing In Australia’s Victoria

SYDNEY, Mac 2 (NNN-AAP) – The Australian police reported today that, a teenager has been charged in Victoria, after a stabbing incident injured two people, in a town situated in the state’s south-east.

At about 7:00 p.m. local time yesterday, the incident took place on Church Street in Morwell, approximately 150 km south-east of the state capital, Melbourne.

According to Victoria Police, two men, both from Morwell, got out of their car and were involved in a physical altercation with a group of people.

The 25-year-old and 18-year-old were stabbed before being transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Following the incident, the group fled the scene on foot but was soon located near a railway station.

“A 15-year-old Traralgon boy was arrested, and has been charged with intentionally causing injury, affray, assault with a weapon, and unlawful assault. He will appear at a children’s court at a later date,” the state police confirmed.– NNN-AAP
