US Airman Dies After Setting Himself On Fire Outside Israeli Embassy

WASHINGTON, Feb 27 (NNN-WAFA) – A US Air Force soldier died yesterday, after setting himself on fire, outside the Israeli embassy in Washington last weekend, in an apparent act of protest against the brutal Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip.

A video went viral on internet shows the US soldier filming himself and repeatedly shouting “Free Palestine!” while setting himself on fire.

He was initially taken to the hospital after suffering “serious, life-threatening injuries,” according to the fire department.

The 25-year-old airman, Aaron Bushnell of San Antonio, Texas, died from his injuries, the Metropolitan Police Department of Washington, DC, said yesterday

Before setting himself on fire, the man, who was wearing a military uniform, said that, he will not be complicit in this genocide.

“I will no longer be complicit in genocide in the Gaza Strip. I am about to engage in an extreme act of protest.”

This comes amid increasing protests in the United States against the bloody Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip, which have so far resulted in the death of about 30,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children.– NNN-WAFA
