5.2-Magnitude Quake Hit Near West Coast Of Honshu, Japan

BEIJING, Feb 1 (NNN-XINHUA) – An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2, jolted near the west coast of Honshu, Japan, at 2307 GMT yesterday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.

The epicentre, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 37.35 degrees north latitude, and 136.74 degrees east longitude.– NNN-XINHUA
