Kabul, Afghanistan, May 10 – Afghan security forces guard the site of an explosion in Kabul, Afghanistan. The Taliban attacked the offices of an international NGO in the Afghan capital, setting off a huge explosion and battling Afghan security forces in an assault that killed at least five people, interior ministry said in a statement. Asuncion, Paraguay, May 10 – A boat transports people displaced by a flooded street in Asuncion, Paraguay. Officials in Paraguay say they have had to evacuate some 40,000 people in recent weeks because of flooding from unusually heavy rains across the South American nation.
