Bangkok, Thailand, May 9 – Plai Siam, the male elephant carried the royal emblem, leading ten other elephants to march in the procession along with the rhythm of the drum. The elephants and marchers stopped and knelt down to pay their respects to the royal portrait and representatives of elephant handlers sang the royal anthem to express loyalty to His Majesty the King. Johannesburg, South Africa, May 9 – South Africa President Cyril Ramaphosa casting his vote in the 2019 elections. Millions of voters in South Africa are heading to polling booths on Wednesday to cast their ballot in the national and provincial elections. Incumbent president Cyril Ramaphosa, who assumed power last year, has promised to crack down on corruption in the ruling African National Congress (ANC).
