Saudi Minister Of Finance Meets With World Bank Vice President

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia, April 25 (NNN-SPA) – Minister of Finance, Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan, met here with World Bank Vice President for Development Finance (DFi), Akihiko Nishio, Chairman of MUFG Bank of Japan, Nobuyuki Hirano, Co-Chief Operating Officer of JP Morgan of America, Daniel Pinto, HSBC’s Chief Executive Officer, John Flint, Managing Executive Officer in Europe and the Middle East at Mizuho Bank of Japan, Hiroshi Nakamine, CEO of SMBC Japan, Jun Ohta, and CEO of Ashmore of UK, Mark Cook.

Al-Jadaan reviewed, during the meetings at the Financial Sector Conference (FSC), hosted currently in Riyadh, the positive developments in the Saudi economy and the Kingdom’s efforts to achieve financial equilibrium and economic diversification within the vision of Saudi Arabia 2030.

The first session of the Financial Sector Conference will last for two days. The conference, which is held under the theme “Promising Financial Horizons” is organised by the partners of the Financial Sector Development Programme (FSDP), one of the Saudi Vision 2030 programmes, represented by the Ministry of Finance, the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA), the Capital Market Authority (CMA) with the participation of decision makers in the financial sector and senior executives of financial institutions locally, regionally and internationally.– NNN-SPA
