6.5-Magnitude Earthquake Jolted Pakistan, Causing Panic

ISLAMABAD, Mar 22 (NNN-APP) – An earthquake, measuring 6.5-magnitude, jolted parts of Pakistan last night, according to sources from the seismic monitoring centre of Pakistan.

According to the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), the epicentre was in the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan.

At least nine people died. More than 100 people were brought to hospitals in the Swat valley region of Pakistan’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in a state of shock.– NNN-APP
