Two More Palestinians Killed In Northern West Bank: Medics

RAMALLAH, Jan 2 (NNN-WAFA) – Two more Palestinians were killed at predawn today, during clashes with Israeli soldiers in the village of Kafr Dan, west of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, Palestinian medics and eyewitnesses said.

Samer Atteya, director of Ibn Sina Hospital in the city, told reporters that, two Palestinian young men were killed, and eight other Palestinians were injured by Israeli soldiers, during an Israeli army force raid on the village.

Palestinian eyewitnesses said that, an Israeli army force stormed the village to arrest Palestinians wanted by Israeli security forces for carrying out attacks against Israel.

They also said that Palestinian gunmen and Israeli soldiers exchanged fire in the village.

Since Mar, 2022, the Israeli army forces have been carrying out almost daily raids against Palestinian towns and villages, in the northern West Bank areas of Nablus and Jenin, following a series of attacks launched by Palestinians that killed around 30 Israelis, according to Israeli figures.

However, more than 225 Palestinians were killed over the past 12 months – “the worst year in terms of the high number of Palestinians killed by the Israeli army.”– NNN-WAFA
