Singapore condemns bombing at police station in Indonesia

SINGAPORE, Dec 8 (NNN-Bernama) — Singapore condemns the bombing at the Astanaanyar Police Station in Bandung, West Java, on Wednesday that resulted in the death of a policeman.

According to the republic’s Foreign Ministry, there are currently no reports of any Singaporeans affected by the bombing.

“We wish the injured a speedy and full recovery,” a ministry’s spokesperson said in a statement here, today.

It was reported that the incident also left 10 victims including a civilian injured.

The report said the suicide bomber had rushed into the premises with a sharp weapon before the explosion occurred.

The suspect’s body was blown to pieces, said the report.
