Malaysia Reported 1,749 New COVID-19 Infections, Six More Deaths

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 15 (NNN-BERNAMA) – Malaysia reported 1,749 new COVID-19 infections as of midnight, bringing the national total to 4,950,566, according to the health ministry.

There is one new imported case, with 1,748 cases being local transmissions, data released on the ministry’s website showed.

Another six deaths have been reported, pushing the death toll to 36,554.

The ministry reported 2,564 new recoveries, bringing the total number of cured and discharged to 4,885,228.

There are 28,784 active cases, with 89 being held in intensive care units and 54 of those in need of assisted breathing.– NNN-BERNAMA
