Indonesian Anti-graft Agency Teamed Up With Interpol To Hunt Fugitive

JAKARTA, Aug 3 (NNN-ANTARA) – Indonesian anti-graft agency (KPK), said, it has asked the National Central Bureau (NCB) Interpol, to help the agency hunt down a graft suspect, who is believed to be hiding in Papua New Guinea, KPK’s spokesperson, Ali Fikri, said here yesterday.

The hunted fugitive is Ricky Ham Pagawak, the current head of the district of Mamberamo Tengah, in Papua Province. He is suspected of being involved in a corruption case in a number of development projects in the district.

KPK had put him on KPK’s wanted person list, after he did not show up for further questioning about the case.

“We have asked the National Police and NCB Interpol as well, to hunt down the wanted person,” Fikri told reporters.– NNN-ANTARA
