Global Entrepreneurship Congress In Saudi Arabia Attracts 13.8-Billion-USD Investments

RIYADH, Mar 31 (NNN-SPA) – Investments of more than 13.8 billion U.S. dollars, were collected, through the Global Entrepreneurship Congress (GEC) that concluded yesterday in Riyadh.

The four-day event, organised by Saudi Arabia’s Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority, in coordination with the Global Entrepreneurship Network, aimed to promote the kingdom as an attractive environment for pioneers and innovators.

The Social Development Bank announced the launch of new products and initiatives worth almost three billion dollars to support and empower entrepreneurs.

The Ministry of Investment of Saudi Arabia, announced investments of more than 936 million U.S. dollars to facilitate the access of international companies into the Saudi Arabian markets.

The GEC, which opened on Mar 27, attracted entrepreneurs from more than 180 countries and hosted over 145 sessions with the participation of 293 speakers.– NNN-SPA
