CARACAS, March 7 (NNN-Prensa Latina) — Venezuela received a new batch of medicines and supplies sent by China as part of the humanitarian bridge between both nations, official sources announced on Sunday .

A total of 69 tons of medicines arrived at the Simon Bolivar International Airport of Maiquetia from China on Saturday, on a flight of the Venezuelan Consortium of Aeronautical Industries and Air Services Co.

The batch contains surgical medical material, medical and dental equipment, accessories, spare parts for the repair of medical equipment and material to fight Covid-19, according to the report.

Those actions are part of the endeavor of the Bolivarian government to guarantee the Venezuelan’s people’s health despite US unilateral coercive measures against that country.

This has been the 42nd flight that has arrived in this nation as part of the China-Venezuela Air Bridge.

Both nations have a close economic and health relation, and China’s support has been essential to fight Covid-19 and the limitations imposed by the US blockade, according to Venezuelan authorities.

For the past two years, China has sent several shipments of medicines, vaccines and supplies to Venezuela, just like Russia has. — NNN-PRENSA LATINA
