The KD Tunku Abdul Rahman is a Scorpène-class submarine built for the Royal Malaysian Navy by DCNS in Cherbourg and Navantia in Cartagena, Spain. Several visitors at the ongoing LIMA have been lucky enough to get a tour of the submarine.

Langkawi (Kedah), Malaysia – Thousands of visitors both locals and foreigners have been heading to the island resort in the northern state of Kedah since the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace exhibition took off here on Tuesday. Malaysian Prime Minister Tun Dr.Mahathir Mohamad has been very upbeat about LIMA, which entered its 15th edition this year. Business delegations from 32 nations and a total of 406 defence and commercial companies are participating in the event.
