Seven Killed, Three Injured After Coach Hits Funeral Procession In Northern Vietnam

HANOI, Vietnam, March 27 (NNN-VNA) – A 45-seater coach crashed into a funeral procession this morning (Wednesday), in Vietnam’s northern Vinh Phuc province, killing seven people and injuring three others, local media reported.

The coach, on the way from northern Dien Bien province to Vinh Phuc, bumped into the procession on a national road in Yen Lac district, local officials say.

The accident happened when the weather was very foggy and the vision was less than one km, online newspaper, VnExpress, reported.

Between Jan and Feb, 2,822 traffic accidents occurred in Vietnam, killing 1,356 people, severely injuring 814 people and slightly hurting 1,355 others, according to the country’s Traffic Police Department.– NNN-VNA
