Venezuela Thanks Concert for Peace in Chile

CARACAS, March 26 (NNN-Prensa Latina) — President Nicolas Maduro thanked the initiative of different social movements in Chile, which spoke in favor of Bolivarian sovereignty during the concert For the Right to Live in Peace in Venezuela.

The Head of State tweeted they will maintain the struggle to preserve social stability and Latin American unity.

The FM Jorge Arreaza also described the concert on Twitter as a ‘beautiful initiative for the sovereignty and preservation of Our South America as a Zone of Peace’ 

‘Tens of thousands of Chileans attended Sunday the concert For the Right to Live in Peace, in Santiago. Thanks Chile! United, We will always win! ‘Arreaza tweeted.

In the event held in Santiago there were over 20 groups, including groups such as Inti Illimani, Illapu, Sol y Lluvia, Moral Distraida, Villa Cariño, Banda Conmocion, Folckband, Ankatu Alquinta, among others.

The initiative is part of the global call of the different solidarity movements, which advocate the self-determination of peoples.

Organizations of the southern nation, such as the Central Unitary of Workers, the National Coordinator of Migrants, the Union of Workers Artists of the Dance and the Confederation of Workers of the Copper joined de concert. — NNN-PRENSA LATINA
