KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 26 (Bernama) — CIMB Investment Bank Berhad, CIMB Islamic Bank Berhad and CIMB Thai Bank PCL (collectively “CIMB” or “the Group”) have been honoured with 11 awards at Alpha Southeast Asia’s 15th Annual Best Deal & Solution Awards 2021 – a record win with the largest number of awards among banking groups in ASEAN.
The awards are a testament to the strength of CIMB’s established investment banking franchise across ASEAN, with the Group picking up awards for top deals across the equity and debt space and its market leadership in the Sukuk markets. CIMB is the largest global Sukuk arranger to date (amongst ASEAN banks) and in Malaysia for more than a decade (according to Bloomberg and Dealogic information for the award period).
