CANBERRA, Jan 8 (NNN-AGENCIES) – Australian Treasurer, Josh Frydenberg, confirmed that he tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday.
“Like thousands of Australians, I tested positive today (yesterday) to COVID-19,” he tweeted last night.
He said that, he had “common symptoms,” and is isolating with his family.
“My thoughts are with all those who have COVID – this is a difficult time, but we will get through this,” he said.
It came after Australia reported more than 78,000 new COVID-19 infections earlier yesterday, marking the fifth consecutive day the country has set a new record for cases.– NNN-AGENCIES
