Indian State Suspends All Flights From Britain From Jan 3

NEW DELHI, Dec 31 (NNN-PTI) – India’s eastern state of West Bengal, yesterday suspended all flights from Britain with effect from Jan 3, in the wake of Omicron scare.

“The state government decided to temporarily and until further orders, suspend all direct flights from U.K. (Britain) to Kolkata, with effect from Jan 3,” said a senior state government official, in a letter to the Ministry of Civil Aviation.

In the letter, the state government official also mentioned that, all passengers coming from other non-risk countries by international flights to West Bengal, will have to mandatorily undergo a test on arrival, at their own cost.– NNN-PTI
