KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 1 (Bernama) — Agrobank welcomed the announcement of Budget 2022 themed “Keluarga Malaysia, Makmur Sejahtera” by YB Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, Minister of Finance which continue to drive the entrepreneurship and the development of agriculture sector as well as food industry.
As a Development Financial Institution (DFI) that is established primarily to meet the financial needs and well-being of the agriculture community, Agrobank essentially supports the whole agriculture value chain and with the expectation of projection of the economic growth expends to 5.5% – 6.5% in 2022, Agrobank will continue to facilitate the agriculture sector towards making a positive impact to the economy under the purview of Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry (MAFI) along with the Bank’s Strategic Business Plan 2021 – 2025 (SBP 2021 – 2025).
