PUTRAJAYA, Aug 9 (Bernama) — Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) plans to strengthen its position as a knowledge capital by getting Malaysia through four cities (Kuala Lumpur, Penang (Penang Convention & Exhibition Bureau), Kuching (Sarawak Convention Bureau) and Kota Kinabalu (Sabah Tourism Board) to join the Hybrid City Alliance – a grouping which offers international event organisers solutions when organising multiple city hub events.
The Hybrid City Alliance was launched in December of 2020 by the Hague Convention Bureau, Ottawa Tourism Business Events, Prague Convention Bureau, and Geneva Convention Bureau. The purpose of joining the alliance is to be part of the global community in supporting event organisers that need hybrid connections for the advancement of knowledge and community development.
