CYBERJAYA, June 29 (Bernama) — Malaysia Automotive Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii) is announcing the MARii Tracker, a complete solution for contact tracing, social distancing compliance, and location tracking within business premises. MARii Tracker is a device that tracks the movement of individuals within a business premise and stores contact tracing information, employee logs, supply chain information, and standard operating procedure (SOP) enforcement of businesses, all in real-time and in the cloud.
These MARii Tracker capabilities are deployed through a small Bluetooth dongle that can be clipped on a belt or placed in an employee’s pocket. The Tracker alerts employees through an audible alarm when two or more dongles come within a range of less than one (1) meter, indicating social distancing protocols are not practiced. The data is also captured by the system administrator for logging, analysis and any corrective action.
