KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, June 17 (Bernama) — Export-Import Bank of Malaysia Berhad (“EXIM Bank”) welcomes and supports Prime Minister of Malaysia Tan Sri Dato’ Haji Muhyiddin Bin Haji Mohd Yassin and the Government’s National Recovery Plan towards the containment of the Covid-19 pandemic, which will lead to the eventual full reopening of the economy later this year.
In his national address on 15 June 2021, Prime Minister Muhyiddin shared the National Recovery Plan, which will be carried out in four phases, to take the nation out of the Covid-19 pandemic. The government has drawn-up plans with the best possible consideration to ensure that every decision would continue to safeguard the lives and livelihoods of the people and benefit the country.
