Singapore Reports Four New COVID-19 Cases

SINGAPORE, Jun 10 (NNN-CNA) – Singapore’s Ministry of Health (MOH) reported four new COVID-19 cases yesterday, bringing the total tally to 62,223.

Of the new cases, one is in the community and linked to previous cases, and has already been placed on quarantine, and another one is currently unlinked. There are two imported cases, who have already been placed on Stay-Home Notice (SHN), upon arrival in Singapore.

Overall, the number of new cases in the community decreased from 126 cases in the week before, to 71 cases in the past week. The number of unlinked cases in the community has also decreased from 26 cases in the week before last to six cases in the past week.

Yesterday, 38 more cases had been discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities. In all, 61,740 have fully recovered from the infection and been discharged from hospitals or community care facilities.

There are currently 158 confirmed cases, who are still in hospital. Of these, most are stable or improving, and one is in critical condition in the intensive care unit.– NNN-CNA
