Kuwait Organises Virtual Art Exhibition, In Solidarity With Palestine

KUWAIT CITY, May 26 (NNN-KUNA) – Kuwait organised yesterday, a virtual art exhibition, in solidarity with Palestine, in the wake of the recent Israeli-Palestinian conflict in the Gaza Strip.

Artists from different countries intended to raise awareness of the Palestinian issue, by making artistic creations for Palestine and sharing them on the “Waha” platform, a creative community, based in Kuwait, and popular in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.

“I believe in our role, for making a change and being an active participant in what happens around us in the world, not only in our region,” Ghadeer Ali, the founder of Waha, which organised the art exhibition, said.

Sarah Al Qaood, co-founder of Waha, said that, he “believes in the power of art and in the power of artists to make a difference.”

So the exhibition, themed ‘Artists For Palestine,’ “was the natural conclusion to this belief,” said Qaood.– NNN-KUNA
