Tokyo, Japan, March 4 – Birhanu Legese crosses the finish line to win the Tokyo Marathon on Sunday. Ethiopian Birhanu Legese cruised to victory at the Tokyo marathon on Sunday, winning in a time of two hours, four minutes and 48 seconds in to claim his first major title. The 24-year-old was part of a small leading group for the first 30 kilometres before pulling away easily from runnerup Kenyan Bedan Karoki (2:06:48) and strolling to victory. Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, March 4 – Stephane Bak and Marc Zinga in a scene from “The Mercy of the Jungle.”.Rwandan director Joel Karekezi’s “The Mercy of the Jungle” scooped best film at Africa’s top film festival, Saturday, following a fierce debate about gender equality and sexual aggression in the continent’s movie industry.
