COVID-19 Cases Rise To 141,728 In Myanmar

YANGON, Feb 20 (NNN-MNA) – The number of COVID-19 infections has risen to 141,728, in Myanmar, yesterday, according to the Ministry of Health and Sports.

The country reported 19 new COVID-19 positive cases, with one more death in the past 24 hours, the ministry’s release said.

The death toll reached 3,194, so far.

A total of 131,209 recovered patients have been discharged from hospitals as of yesterday.

The number of samples tested for COVID-19 was 1,117 yesterday, down from around 10,000 samples tested daily, in the first week of this month.

COVID-19 was first detected in Myanmar on Mar 23, last year.– NNN-MNA
