PUTRAJAYA, Dec 3 (Bernama) — Agrobank today contributed RM1 million of its zakat fund to ‘Tabung COVID-19’, Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH), a donation fund which will be used for the purchase of medical equipment, medicines, reagents, disposable items and other medical necessities.
A Zakat Contribution Presentation Ceremony was held today at MOH, Putrajaya which saw Dato’ Mustapha Buang, Chairman of Agrobank presenting the mock cheque of contribution to YB Dato’ Sri Dr. Adham Baba, Minister of Health Malaysia. The Zakat Presentation Ceremony was also attended by Khadijah Iskandar, Covering President / Chief Executive Officer of Agrobank.
