SYRIAN ARMY DISCOVERS US-MADE WEAPONS LEFT BEHIND BY TERRORISTS IN DARAA

DARAA, Syria, July 12 (NNN-SANA) - Units of the Syrian Arab Army, discovered heavy, medium, and light weapons, some of which are US-made, TOW missile launch pads, left behind by the terrorists in eastern countryside of Daraa.

A field commander said that, the army units, on Wednesday, found underneath caches for the terrorist groups, in a number of the villages and towns in south-eastern and north-eastern countryside of Daraa, including US TOW launch pads, US-made armoured vehicles, armoured vehicles equipped with machine guns 14,5-57 and 30, tanks and anti-aircraft guns.

A SANA reporter said that, the seized weapons also included 120 mm, 82 mm, and 60 mm mortar launchers, various munitions, RPG's, and sniper weapons, in addition to a tunnel excavator, used by the terrorists, to facilitate their movement and protect themselves from the strikes of the Syrian Arab Army.-- NNN-SANA
