HAVANA, Jan 14 (NNN-PRENSA LATINA)--Junior World Champion Osvary Morell (81 kilograms) is heading a Cuban squad composed by six fighters to take part in Open Tournament of India from January 26 to February 2nd, it was reported here Friday.

Besides Morell, who also has the Cuban absolute crown in this category, the team representing Cuba in this invitational tournament in New Delhi includes other fighters from the Cuban national pre-team, among them, Arisnoides Despaigne (69 kg), a runner-up in 2013.

Juan Milan, Cuban National Boxing Federation (FCB) methodologist, said that national runners-up

Armando Martínez (60 kg.), Osley Iglesias (75 kg) and Yoandry Toirac ( 91 kg), besides national bronze medalist Jorge Moiran (64 kg) appear in the list of the Cuban team.

The young Cuban fighters are still training at the Olbein Quesada National Boxing School, together with the members of the national team Domadores (Tamers) of Cuba, who are training for the next edition of the World Series of Boxing (WSB).

The category C-1, which includes the 49, 56, 64, 75 and 91 kilograms divisions, will have action in the first boxing program of Cuba in the WSB on February 2 opposite to the Colombia Heroics, in the Coliseum of the Sports City of Havana.--NNN-PRENSA LATINA
