RAINBOW MOUNTAIN BECOMES 2ND MOST VISITED DESTINATION IN PERU

Cusco, Peru - Dec 7 Tourists gasp for breath as they climb for two hours to a peak in the Peruvian Andes that stands 16,404 feet (5,000 meters) above sea level. Winikunka, more commonly referred to as the Rainbow Mountain located between Quispicanchi and Canchis provinces in the Andean region of Cusco, has become the second-most popular destination in Peru after the archaeological park of Machu Picchu.
