WORLD PARA ATHLETICS: MALAYSIA'S ABDUL LATIF ROMLY WINS GOLD, SETS NEW LONG JUMP RECORD. Romly retained his T20 long jump title at the World Para Athletics Championships in London on Sunday for Malaysia's second gold medal at the competition. This was after shot putter Ziyad Zolkefli's gold medal world record breaking victory on Saturday. Latif came through to win in a championship record of 7.37 metres, improving on his previous mark set two years ago in Doha, Qatar by two centimetres.
