ENDANGERED MALAYAN TIGER CUBS BORN AT CINCINNATI ZOO

ENDANGERED MALAYAN TIGER CUBS BORN AT CINCINNATI ZOO. Newborn Malaysian tiger cubs rest in their nursery before they are fed at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Gardens in Cincinnati in United States, on Feb 14, 2017. Three cubs were born on Feb. 3 to 3-year-old Cinta, a first-time mother, in the zoo's captive breeding program. Zookeepers decided to intervene when Cinta failed to display her maternal instincts. "It's not uncommon for first-time tiger moms not to know what to do. They can be aggressive and even harm or kill the cubs," said Mike Dulaney, curator of mammals and vice coordinator of the Malayan Tiger Species Survival Plan (SSP).
