SYRIAN REBELS SEIZE CONTROL OF BORDER POINTS. Syria's rebels of the Free Syrian Army seized control of the Bab al-Hawa border crossing between Syria and Turkey, in the restive north western Idlib province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on 19 July 2012. A Baghdad's deputy interior Minister Adnan al-Assadi claimed that there was fighting between the Syrian army and rebels across the border from the northern Iraqi region of Sinjar.
