The Secretariat is currently administered by a project coordinator who supervises an eight-member editorial team working 12 hours daily, seven days a week. Its ICT team comprises a web-master and a web-designer.

The project coordinator reports directly to the General Manager of Bernama, the national news agency of Malaysia on all matters . Editorially also, the project coordinator regularly consults the general manager as well as the editor-in-chief of Bernama.

The Bernama general manager submits periodic reports on the progress of the NNN and related matters to the Minister of Information, the policy division of the Ministry of Information, and the Ambassador at Large, NAM of the Malaysian Foreign Ministry.

Occasionally when the Lower House of the Malaysian Parliament is in session, the Bernama general manager also prepares replies to both oral and written questions on the NNN raised by Members of Parliament.

In the first half of 2006, two MPs have raised questions about the NNN.
