JELI, Malaysia March 20 (NNN-Bernama) -- The Internet can be platform to market products and strengthen existing businesses, according to Syarikat Autocard Privilege Sdn Bhd.

It provides an opportunity for people, including those in Kelantan state, to become entrepreneurs in a borderless world, said the company's event coordinator Nik Nubli Nik Mahmood.

He said in the fast-paced information technology world, the Internet enabled entrepreneurs to make their businesses known to the world.

To help entrepreneurs and potential entrepreneurs who are interested in venturing into the Internet, the company will hold a workshop at the Kelantan Trade Centre here on March 27, 2010.

The one-day workshop will be conducted by Dr Irfan Khairi, a well-known Internet-based entrepreneur who has become a millionaire, Nik Nubli told Bernama.

He said the workshop participants will be given guidance on starting Internet-based businesses and ways of promoting their businesses effectively.

Nik Nubli said in addition, Irfan will also teach the workshop participants how to set up simple websites.

"The workshop is designed especially for those without any background in the information technology field," he said, adding that the participants will continue to receive guidance and support from Irfan for one year.

Those interested to attend the workshop can contact Autocard Privilege Tel: 03-42562577 or visit the www.autoprivilege.com.my website.
