NEW YORK, March 19 (NNN-WAM) -- The United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Fiji have established diplomatic relations by signing an official joint communique at ambassadorial level.

The communique was signed by Ahmed Al-Jarman, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Permanent Representative of the UAE to the United Nations and Peter Thomson, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Fiji to the United Nations.
