CZECH DEPUT PM LEADS DELEGATION ON VISIT TO ETHIOPIA

ADDIS ABABA, March 9 (NNN-ENA) -- A high-level Czech delegation, led by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister Jan Kohout, has arrived in Addis Ababa for a three-day working visit to Ethiopia.

Upon arrival at Addis Ababa's Bole International Airport, the Czech delegation was warmly welcomed by senior government officials, including Foreign Minister Seyoum Mesfin and the Czech Ambassador to Ethiopia.

The visiting Czech delegation will hold separate discussions with Minister of Finance and Economic Development Sofian Ahmed and Seyoum Mesfin on how to bolster economic co-operation between Ethiopia and Czech.

The delegation, which also includes Czech businessmen, is expected to hold discussions with members of the Ethiopian Chamber of Commerce and sectoral associations. It will also held talks with senior officials of the African Union (AU) Commission which has its headquarters in the Ethiopian capital. -- NNN-ENA
