Decrease Font Size Increase Font Size

BELMOPAN, Belize, Dec 6 (NNN-CARIBBEAN NET NEWS) -- A child molester, who is listed as America's most wanted man, was arrested in Belize on Friday.

News 7 reported on Friday night that the man, Robert Schneider, who has been convicted and jailed for molesting two children in two separate incidents in Colorado in 2005, fled to Belize 15 months ago and changed his name to Romeo Reyes.

Schneider, who was a recognised and well known instructor in Colorado worked in Belize also as an instructor - teaching mainly children.

The report said that the molester even married a police officer in this Central American country.

After serving prison time, Schneider was required to be registered as a sex offender, but instead fled and eventually ended up in Belize.

He is now in custody and the police are investigating his activities while in Belize.
